What we build
Some projects are one piece — a new deck, a pergola, a kitchen. Others are the entire backyard at once. We handle either, and everything in between.
Pool decks
The hardscape around the pool — travertine, pavers, stamped concrete, or flagstone. We design and lay the deck so it drains right, stays cool underfoot, and complements the pool's lines.
Patios & hardscape
Standalone patios, walkways, and the courtyard work that ties your back door to the pool. We build the whole floor of the backyard.
Pergolas & shade structures
Wood or steel pergolas, covered cabanas, and louvered roof systems that make a Houston backyard usable through the summer. We frame them, finish them, and integrate lighting and fans.
Outdoor kitchens
Built-in grills, smokers, pizza ovens, refrigeration, sinks, and stone or stucco counter work. Kitchens designed for the way you actually entertain, not generic showroom layouts.
Fire pits & fireplaces
Natural-gas fire pits, wood-burning fire pits, and full outdoor fireplaces in stone or stucco. The piece that keeps people in the backyard once the sun goes down.

Our go-to material
Travertine pool decks — the Houston favorite
We build pool decks in a few materials, but travertine is the one we recommend more often than anything else for Houston yards. It is the most comfortable, longest-lived pool deck surface we install — and the easiest one to live with.
Travertine comes in a wide range of colors and finishes, from warm ivory to silver to walnut. We will bring samples to your consultation and help you match the deck to your home, your pool, and the rest of the backyard.
Stays cool in Texas sun
Travertine reflects heat where concrete absorbs it. On a 100-degree Houston afternoon, the difference between a stamped concrete deck and a travertine deck is the difference between unwalkable and barefoot-friendly.
Weathers Houston well
Hard freezes, heavy rain, sun, chlorinated water — travertine takes all of it without cracking, fading, or losing its finish. It is the closest thing to a maintenance-free pool deck material we know of.
Natural look that ages gracefully
A natural stone surface in soft beiges, ivories, and silvers — quietly elegant when it goes in, and even better-looking after a few years of weathering. Trends do not date it.
Slip-resistant where it matters
The honed and tumbled finish gives travertine real traction wet or dry — exactly what you want around a pool, on steps, and along the spa edge.

What an outdoor living project costs
Backyard projects are priced to scope, so there is no one-size-fits-all number. These are the factors that move a quote the most:
- Square footage of decking and hardscape
- Material selection — travertine, pavers, stamped concrete, flagstone
- Pergola or shade structure size and roof type
- Outdoor kitchen scope — appliances, counters, cabinetry, utilities
- Fire feature type — gas pit, wood fireplace, custom stone work
- Landscape lighting, audio, and electrical scope
- Drainage, grading, and any retaining wall work
