Equipment Installation & Repairs

Pool Equipment You Can Count On

Pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, and lighting — installed, serviced, and repaired by the same family-owned Houston pool company since 2003.

Why Venture

Why Houston pool owners call us for equipment

Pool equipment is one of the easiest places to get sold something you do not need. We built our reputation on the opposite — diagnosing honestly, recommending plainly, and fixing what should be fixed instead of replacing it.

Honest diagnosis, every time

When equipment fails we tell you what is actually wrong and what it actually costs — not the most expensive option on the truck. Sometimes a part fixes it. Sometimes it does not. Either way you hear it straight.

Full service, not just installs

We install new equipment and we repair what is already on your pad. The same crew you would call for a new variable-speed pump is the one you call when something stops working — no second contractor required.

Houston conditions baked in

Freeze events, summer duty cycle, humidity, and hard water — Houston equipment lives a harder life than equipment in milder climates. We know what fails here, why, and how to set it up so it does not.

Twenty years of pads under our belt

We have seen every brand, every era, every layout — old galvanized plumbing, builder-special pumps, half-finished automation jobs from somebody else's contractor. There is not much we have not worked on before.

Scope

What we install & service

We work on every piece of equipment on a residential pool pad — and we are equally comfortable with a quick repair, a single-unit replacement, or a full pad rebuild.

Pumps

Variable-speed pumps, single-speed replacements, motor swaps, and seal kits. Variable-speed is the single biggest energy upgrade for most Houston pools — often paying for itself within a few seasons.

Filters

Cartridge, DE, and sand filters — installs, cleanings, cartridge replacements, manifold repairs, and full filter swap-outs when the housing is past its life.

Heaters

Gas heaters, heat pumps, and electric heaters — installs, ignition repairs, gas valve work, and seasonal start-ups. We help you pick the right type for your goals, your gas line, and your budget.

Salt chlorine systems

Cell installs and replacements, board work, output diagnostics, and full conversions from chlorine to salt. Salt is gentle on plaster and easier on swimmers, but it has its own service rhythm we will walk you through.

Pool automation

Control systems and app setup, board-level repair when something stops talking, and integration of pumps, heaters, lighting, and water features into a single panel. Pool control done right is set-and-forget.

Lighting

LED retrofits in old niches, transformer replacements, color-change lighting, and deck or landscape lighting tied into the pool's controls. Light a backyard right and you double how often you actually use it.

When to call

Signs your equipment needs attention

Pool equipment usually tells you it is in trouble before it actually quits. These are the things worth a phone call — most of them are cheaper to fix early than later.

A pump that is louder than it used to be

A pump that has started humming, grinding, or vibrating is on the way out. Catch it early and a bearing or seal swap saves the motor — ignore it and the whole pump goes.

Weak return flow or a sluggish skimmer

When the jets feel weak and the skimmer barely pulls, the pump, filter, or plumbing is asking for attention. We diagnose where the bottleneck actually is — not just where it is convenient to replace.

Heater that will not light

Failed ignition modules, dirty pilot assemblies, gas pressure issues, or freeze damage on the controls. We figure out what is actually wrong before we suggest a replacement.

Salt system alarms or weak chlorine

Most salt-cell alarms are cell life, board issues, or chemistry — fixable, not always a sign you need a new system. We test before we sell.

A wet equipment pad

Water dropping at the pad is a leak somewhere — a fitting, a union, a pump seal, a heater connection. We find it and fix it before it eats your electric bill and your equipment along with it.

Old equipment costing a fortune to run

A single-speed pump from fifteen years ago can cost more in electricity each year than a new variable-speed pump costs to install. Sometimes the upgrade is the cheaper option.

Our approach

Brands we work with

We install and service equipment from the major pool brands — Pentair, Jandy, Hayward, Zodiac, Polaris, and others. We pick the right brand and the right unit for your pool, your goals, and your equipment pad — not whatever the truck happens to be stocked with.

If you already have a brand on your pad, we keep working in it whenever it makes sense. If a piece really is end-of-life, we explain why before recommending a replacement.

Repair vs replace

When a repair is the right answer

A lot of equipment problems are parts, not whole-unit failures — a seal, a board, a gas valve, a capacitor. When a repair is the right call, we will tell you, and we will quote the part and the labor separately so there is no mystery.

When replacement really is cheaper over time — usually because the unit is more than a decade old, parts are hard to source, or running it is costing more in electricity than it would cost to upgrade — we say that too, with the math.

Where we work

Equipment service across the Houston area

We install and service pool equipment throughout our service area — from Katy and the I-10 corridor through the neighborhoods inside the 610 Loop and out to Cypress.
